If you’re stuck in retail, burnt out in a big overcrowded dental office, or just ready for a career with actual momentum — read this.
Great Falls Dentistry is a 30-year established, owner-operated private practice with 370+ five-star Google reviews. The doctor works chairside every single day. We’re a small, tight-knit team — and we have room for one more person who’s hungry to learn and ready to grow.
This role starts in sterilization and support. But it doesn’t have to stay there. Every skill you add, every responsibility you earn, comes with recognition — and pay to match. The ceiling here is determined by you, not by a corporate org chart.
What You’ll Do:
- Instrument sterilization, pouch, and autoclave management.
- Operatory setup, breakdown, and restocking.
- Coronal polishing on straightforward children hygiene patients.
- Chairside assisting as you develop and demonstrate readiness.
- General back-office flow and team support.
What We’re Looking For.
Minimum:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic familiarity with dental clinical setting. Ideally at least 6 months experience in a dental office.
- Reliable and punctual — every day, on time.
- A team-first attitude — we help each other here, and that goes both ways.
- Initiative — we’ll give you a job description and guidance, but we need someone who looks for what needs to be done without being told every time. Room needs turning, turn it. Trash is full, replace the bag. Hygienist is running behind, take x-rays for her next patient. Someone needs help charting, jump in.
Preferred:
- 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience in lieu of formal certification (higher pay for assistants ready to perform support functions right away with less in-office training).
Major Plus:
- Expanded functions or DA II certification from Virginia or any state.
- Dentrix experience.
What We Offer:
- $17–$25/hr to start (depending on your initial ability to perform the basic functions of sterilization and dental assisting), with pay that grows as you do to even surpass that range.
- Bonuses based on general office performance, case starts and indi performance.
- Health insurance.
- 401(k) with 4% employer match.
- In-office dental for you and your immediate family.
- OSHA and HIPAA training provided at onboarding.
- Invisalign team training — a real credential that stays with you wherever you go.
- A genuine growth path: sterilization tech → floating dental and hygiene assistant → full chairside assisting → for the right person, senior-level delegation with autonomous Invisalign patient scanning and case management.
This isn’t a dead-end. It’s a starting point.
We look forward to meeting you.
